Jack spent his childhood in here in Hopkinton, where he discovered an early fascination for languages. He practiced Latin for eight years through high school and college and Ancient Greek for four years beginning at Kenyon College. He studied abroad for four months in Athens, Greece, where he learned a smattering of Modern Greek. Since graduating from his Bachelor’s in 2019, Jack has been pursuing a Master’s in Education in northern Vermont. He plans to graduate this summer!

At the same time, he taught French to himself and to students from the ages of 5 to 13 in a public school in Vermont, started a French Club at his local public library, and ran an accelerated French program for a seamless transition into French 2 in high school. Jack spent a month volunteering in Montréal in the summer of 2022 and a month studying in France in the summer of 2023. Jack began teaching French locally in June of 2024, and he is thrilled to be a renewed member of the community! In his spare time, Jack enjoys singing, swimming, cooking, learning new things, and whatever wild adventure comes to him next.
