Join the HPL and the Hopkinton Trails Club for a summer series of easy guided trail walks in Hopkinton! Experience the trails while learning about the green spaces in our town!

Thursday, June 16th at 6PM - Hughes Trail (Click HERE for map and parking info)

Thursday, July 14th at 6PM - Legacy Farms South Trail (Click HERE for map and parking info)

Thursday, August 18th at 6PM - Fruit Street Trails (Click HERE for map and parking info)

No walking or hiking experience needed. Walks will last 1-2 hours and cover roughly 1.5-2 miles. Please bring water, wear sneakers or hiking shoes, and wear bug spray. Walkers will meet at 6PM at the parking area of each walk to meet up with the group.  Please see each event map for parking information.  This is an all ages event that encourages people of all ages to come and enjoy the trails.  Strollers are NOT recommended due to the uneven terrain where small wheels would get caught up over some roots or small rocks.  If you would like to bring a young child that cannot walk 1.5 miles, consider bringing a child-carrying backpack.  Although these trails are not technical and do not traverse steep terrain, there is uneven ground, so good footwear (no sandals, etc.) is suggested.  Additionally, please wear tall socks as it is tick season in Massachusetts.  We will be walking at the pace of the slowest member of our group, so don't worry about being left behind.  While we walk, our guide will point out areas of interest, as well as discuss the history of the trail we are walking on!

Adults will be awarded a 20 point Secret Code for the Summer Reading Program at the end of the walk.

Feel free to email or call us with any questions.
